New Name – Same Commitment

Beginning on April 1, 2016, we have a new name and a new logo. PLM Families Together is now FAMILIES TOGETHER.

The Board of Directors after much discernment voted unanimously to launch a new phase in our organization’s growth with a new name that emphasizes who we serve and our goal of keeping Families Together to achieve stable housing.

With this change to our name, we remain a PLM organization dedicated to carrying on the 36-year legacy of our founders and supporters. Our new name is a testament to their vision and commitment to keeping families with children together. Our shared values for compassion, respect, service and integrity will always be at the center of our work.

Our new logo signifies the hope that comes with having a home, and focuses on our dedication to seeing that all children are given the opportunity to thrive. The handprint is from a child in our program who now lives with her mother in their own apartment thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Now is an exciting time. We hope you share our optimism about the future and the potential to expand our impact and serve more families in need. Please feel free to reach out to us any time with questions. We look forward to continuing our partnership with those who have helped us grow and serve. Together, we will work for a community where all children and their families have a place to call home.

I was once homeless and this amazing organization gave me and my four children hope again. Without your organization I do not know where we would be. My second oldest daughter is now a senior at Campbell University, my oldest son a rising junior at Middle Creek High School, and my youngest a rising middle schooler. What your organization provided for us is stability, hope, and faith in humanity. Now I actively participate in helping women who are incarcerated intergrate back into society with my local church. By your example I have been able to give back to others. I may not be able to help everyone, but I can help someone. Thanks to you and your organization I can make a difference just as you have done for me. May your organization continue to be blessed and keep families together as you have done for mine.
